On the .... stereotype

Well ... life could be really annoying sometimes.... but yeah ... spare ribs for dinner and an evening phone chat cool me down a bit ... in addition .... this video made me smile ... it is about jokes on the stereotype of the batak people (which is my ethnicity) ... and to be honest, since warkop prambors started it in the 70's, no one has created a smart joke about (on) batak people until this one (what most comedians trying to do is to mimic the accent and try to make it sounds funny, which in many cases, instead of make it funny, it sounds REALLY terrible ) ... the comedian in this video shows that either he had lived in the typical batak environment or he has done his research very well ... he can mimic the accent accurately so it sounds just like the accent of my late grandfather (surprisingly, i found that my father's accent is not that strong) .. and the way he describe the common stereotype of batak people and blend it with the latest issue result in a unique joke which is very classic, but also very true ..... one of my fave all the time ... i wished it can be translated into english so other people can understand... however it will loss its meaning and fun .... so yeah, if you are indonesian, whatever your situation you face now, I think this video can give your smile back ... at least for a while .....
