On the ... 2009 ....

Suddenly I think I need to write the flashback from 2009 … partly because someone was complaining that I need to write it down (she could read the posting of the last one year … but yeah ….. procrastination kicks on ..) … but partly because I was inspired by my friend blog …. So here they are ..

in general … 2009 is not so special … mostly because I was living with the memories from the past (some is paiful .. some just like a dream) … the other is because big changes took place regarding my social life … since many people left and none really replace them … if I can choose … in 2007 until end of 2008 my life was much more colorful … miss my old friends … miss those times ….

January: start with the new year in Barcelona …

February: a blind date in Ansterdam … and International Film Festival in Rotterdam brought me to meet my lovely old friend Rani … met her again after that in Amsterdam … ….... bought my new camera .. first time in my life …. kind of life changing .. hehehe …

March: spent my weekend with museum and a visit to Duesseldorf

April: a week in a “doorpje” called Twente for training (eventough I was amazed by the campus .. the nicest campus I’ve ever seen in Europe) …. also my first time to see a theatrical performance in Schveningen …..

May: Groens cup, failed to participate because of the back pain (penuaan dini..??), but still stubborn enough to go only to clear my mind .. … and a visit to Leiden …. only to lay down because (again) of the back pain (thx to my lovely sister..) ..

June: another visit to Duesseldorf to see jazz event and Incognito … and attended special event in my campus .. yaps it was PhD comics time ….

July: a day trip to Maastricht .. nice city ..

July/ August: Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Vienna ….. thx Carina …

September: a visit to Maastricht … nice city .. I just realized …. a trip to Interlaken … one of the best spot I’ve ever seen … and probably the highest place I’ve ever been … in addition, Zurich and Luzerne …

October: Dutch design week …. first experience attending phd defense … wedding party ….. other defenses ..... and small high school reunion in Amsterdam with Susan ....

November: Eindhoven Glow …… a day trip to Aachen and Monchau … weinachtsmarkt always excites me … don’t know why ….

December: another trip to duesseldorf and koeln (another weinachtsmarkt time) …. and for sure .. Christmas .. and big end year bonus .. huehehehehe …… daytrip to den haag for free foods (huehehehehe) and .. well you can read the rest ….…

strange year ..
